Our new project board is now available - I did a little write up about it here. As a small token of appreciation for everyone's help, we're offering free shipping on all orders today.

I think the boards came out great - They look sharp, aren't too big, and have expansion for tons of different connectors. I would like to thank everyone on the forums for their guidance, advice, and suggestions. Especially Bean, Philldapill, OBC, SRLM & Ugha. The board and development packs are way better because of their criticism smile.gif. Thanks guys!!!

    Free shipping is now over, I thought I'd let it run through the weekend. All orders placed this weekend have also shipped. Here's a little photo of the boards, too;

    Hey Nick (or anybody) - sorry to dig up an old thread, but I'm trying to lay out a couple of Boss Boards with Propellers and I am having a difficult time. The links I've found for the set up guide are all 404'd. Please help. Anyone?

    Sweet! I'd really appreciate it if you would. I've only got two and didn't want to bugger them up guessing.

    Thanks!

    I'm sorry! I've been trying to compress the image file, the forum won't let me post it because it is too large. I'm uploading it to my server now, and I'll post a link soon. I know what it's like, I don't want to keep you waiting!

    I'm posting both a forum-created reference that I prefer to use, and the original PDF.

    Thanks Micro - I was trying to get the kids to bed anyway! Mrs DD and the oldest daughter went to see that vampire flick, which left me to get the other three kids bathed etc. and to bed.

    Help!!! Can anybody recommend voltage regulators for the Boss Board? The LM2937 3.3v and LM2940 5.0v regulators I have don't match up pins to the board... I've I am reading board right, pin1=gnd, pin2=output, pin3=input voltage. Whereas the ones I have are 1=input, 2=gnd, 3=output. Obviously I need different brand regulators.

    The 5V regulator is the MC33269, and the 3.3V regulator is in that family.

    Thanks Micro... you've bailed me out again. I guess this project is on hold now until I can order parts. :tongue:

    Your welcome.

    It doesn't have to be on hold. I hard-wired my LM-series regulators and wrapped them under the board. If you plan to eventually have it in a case, it doesn't really matter that it looks a little sloppy, and it's a quick fix. I don't like waiting for parts to arrive. :)

    Nor do I. I may have to give your tactic a try! :D
