It's been mentioned in a thread somewhere, but I thought it might bear re-posting as Jeff Martin mentioned it last night.
The April 1st price drop of the Propeller. I believe I heard $7ish?
This is the first year I will appreciate April 1st. Normally I run and hide somewhere till it's over.

Easy to remember; it's less than a buck per cog!

Need to make your prop design easier or secure? Get a PropMod has crystal, eeprom, and programing header in a 40 pin dip 0.7" pitch module with uSD reader, and RTC options.
sorry for the response, I couldn't resist...

Looking at the table, the first price break happens at about 10% discount if you buy 20 pieces.
Maybe a smaller quantity price break would be appropriate ... I can't justify 20 for the lab, but I can justify 10 easy.
I guess it is an ironic twist that good and serious news would actually come April 1st.

Seems to be going back to the way things were a year or so ago, when my projections worked.
Hopefully the ~16.00 evb's or something similar will reappear as well. (prop plug version)
....I really enjoyed sawing them up....
Thanks for the head's up.

This is so awesome. I can now justify using the Propeller in a product of mine, reducing complexity by 10 fold!
I love you, Parallax.
