Hi All,
Just to let you in on a mod that OBC and myself have been working on for FemtoBasic.
it's basically ( no pun intended lol ) FemtoBasic, but with a few PropGFX specific instructions, like sprite, gfxload, gfxpoke, gfxpeek, gfxscroll
And here's the first demo I wrote for it.

GFXMario.JPG

And a video of it in action is on youtube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRf7f3b1V0g

    Thanks mpark, and thanks for EDitor :) it's a great assistant to FemtoBasic, :D

    OBC, cheers :) but it was just a quick example of what could be done with a few simple mods to FemtoBasic ;D and a PropGFX

    !!!

    Sweet!

    I've been putting off PROPDOS, FemtoBasic, etc... because SPIN + ASM was easy. Just USB, F10 and go.

    (goes off to buy a small SDCard today)

    When I found the Prop, one of the things I wanted to either do or see was a simple BASIC. At the time, I thought perhaps a compiled basic, like Batari Basic would be the trick. Maybe it still is, but this really does shine. I'm totally going to show this off. IMHO, this is really accessable to a lot of people, given the setup is done.

    Cheers potatohead :) glad you like it, yeah it's great having a simple BASIC on it, to be honest, it was kinda weird not touching the PC to code on the prop lol :) had to remind myself which keyboard to be typing on lol.

    hey OBC, perhaps we should change F1 on the EDitor to be F10 :P

    Yeah, didn't you know, :D it's a cool EDitor you wrote :) and I recon it should be used for all other onboard dev'ing :)

    @mpark
    Your EDitor was used here and
    Baggers converted it to work with PropGFX. Another example of what can happen when efforts are combined.

    This Femto has around a dozen people who have contributed (including you!) to it's progress. Very Cool Indeed!
