BS2px pull-up resistors

I have recently purchased a BS2px and am trying to wring it out. I have been sucessful in using CONFIGPIN direction, threshold and Schmitt functions but am having trouble finding applications for pull-up resistor. I can use a button with one side to VSS the other side to the breadboard with a I/O pin connected to that. This configuration gives me a floating signal, (0's and 1's) when (not pressed) and solid 0's when pressed. With CONFIGPIN pull-up enabled I get solid 1s ( when not pressed) which proves to me that the pull-up function does its job. I am looking for other circuits/ applications to test. Your help would be appreciated. THANX
