I am interested in biometrics, especially fingerprint scanner type. Is there anything parallax has or some other company that has a product that uses this technology that can be controlled with BS2?

    Parallax does not have any biometric products. I suspect you will not find any that can be controlled with a Stamp because of the amount of information involved. Most of the products I've seen on the internet are designed to attach to a PC and rely on a complex program with an associated database of features. A Stamp just wouldn't have enough memory or processing speed to do anything meaningful.

    Try taking a look at this fingerprint scanner from SparkFun: www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8839

    It looks relatively simple. I haven't read the specs in detail, but it looks like it could be used with the BS2.
