Scratch pad longevity

Can someone confirm something for me?
I seem to remember that the life of scratch pad ram is indefinite but I can not find where I read that. I searched this forum but could not find anything on this topic.

I need a few more variables in a BS2PX but don't have the space in normal ram even with using several variables for different things.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Values in scratch pad RAM last only as long as the power is on and until they're changed by a program. The manual doesn't specify whether they get cleared on reset — at least not that I could find.

    Thanks for the reply, Phil.
It seems that I was not very clear in my post.
What I was looking for was how many times can a scratch pad ram location be written to before that location is toast.

There is no limit to the number of times the scratchpad can be written. It's SRAM (static random access memory) rather than EEPROM.

    Thanks Mike.
That's what I was looking for.

    Thanks everyone,
