What Do You Call This Connector and Where Can I Buy Them?

All--

Super dumb question.

What do you call this connector and where can I buy them?

IDEALLY, I would like to have a long strip of these things instead of two positions at a time. In my MIND, they should come in 4, 8, 16, and 32 connector strips and handle 18 - 24 gauge hookup wire.

Thanks!

    Jameco has them.

See this page of their catalog:

    They are called Terminal Blocks.

    Also called screw terminal blocks.

Ones that I have purchased before (and some of the ones in the Jameco Page) are available in two position or three position. They then have guides and slots so that the Terminal Block can be attached together to make any arrangement and size that you need. The picture of the Terminal blocks you posted don't look to have the guides/slots.

If you need some of those terminal blocks in a hurry you can check the parts bins at Radio Shack.· As I recall a lot of the stores actually stock those in blue.· It would be worth checking into.

The radio shack versions come in pairs that can be snapped together into long barrier strips too.

Actually those do have the plastic tabs and grooves for joining them. It's a single piece you can see in the picture on the single TB, back right. To connect them together you have to actually place one above the other and guide it down over the plastic tab.
