Hi guys as always thanks everyone for any help they can offer here is my question.

I am still not able to load my 40 pin prop chips with code from my propstick, I only have USB on my computers so I bought a few propsticks but I also have a bunch of 40 pin prop proto boards that only have a serial interface so I thought I could program the props from an already programed propstick, I used propload from the library but its just an object or driver all I want to do is send the spin programs to my prop boards , basically program a prop chip from another prop chip
I know the boards are all working fine just need to get some spin code into them does anyone have a "loader" program they can share with me??

Also on another topic I can not get the search funtion to work here to save my life, I hate posting the same thing but other than reading every single post manually is there some trick to using this sites fourm search function??

Oh also on propload they use these pins does this make sense? Which prop are you suppose to do this to the main one or the one being programed?
This object drives the other Propeller's RESn line, so it is recommended that
''the other Propeller's BOEn pin be tied high and that its RESn pin be pulled
''to VSS with a 1M resistor to keep it on ice until showtime.????

P.S I have a Hydra system as well would that be easier to use since it has network/serial already???

Can't seem to find it just now, but i belive there is a program that comes with the propeller tool that allows you to do that, using the serial pins, WHERE IS THAT BLASTED PROGRAM?? Anyway, try looking around at all your programs in the Propeller Library; I'll post it if·I find it.

Ahhh, Here we are. It's called 'PropellerLoader' It is attached, but you should have it already.

(It's in the 'PropellerTool v*.*' folder, in the Program Files Folder)

Hi I have also added to my list of things I have tried doing RS-232 emulation in VB but to be honest I am running Vista 64 bit and it would just be easier to buy a prop plug
but I was wondering what everyone else does that have controller boards based on the prop in the field. do you drag a laptop or can you program them from another device?
