Hi,
I have an RF Receiver with a basic stamp 2, i want know if i can modify the Receiver transmission from 500ft to less. Is it possible? how can i reduce it? I need to adapt to environment...

You can reduce the reception range by reducing the·transmitter output power using a couple of different techniques. The antenna that is supplied with the Parallax module is not a 1/4 wavelength antenna and·thereby reduces the overall range - you can further reduce the range by using a shorter antenna.
A second method, if you are willing to modify your transmitter board, is to add a current limiting resistor between the LADJ pin (level adjust) and VCC. I have attached a copy of the Linx data sheet that describes this method - refer to pages 2 and 6.
