LCD compatibility ?

Hi all, Been a while since my last post, but i am back.... I would like to start playing with LCD's ... one has appeared on the bench here in the shack and i am not sure if it is compatible with the projects i am finding in the stampworks manual or not... it is an optrex 5005n, looks like toshiba and sanyo ic's on the board??

ok guys guess none of the regulars here have experiance with this particular unit... reading the online manual i have some idea as to connections and commands so i will give it a shot... wish me luck!
