xbox controller to control BS2

I have to do a project for school and i would like to use an Xbox(orig) wireless controller to control a robot via the bs2.· i have some of the pins labeled for the receiver, and i do not know the rest.· has anyone tried to do this, and if so could you tell me where to find the pinout and possibly some hints on how to program it?
