Time of Flight timer

Somwhere on the Parallax website, sometime in the past month, I recall coming across a note or an article by or about a fellow who has designed some of the products (or at least some of the basic circuits) for Parallax. It·described how he is currently working on a laser range-finding device that will use a time-of-flight method. I want to take another look at that article but I can't seem to find it on the site. If this sounds familar to anyone and you know where on the site it is, I'd apreciateit if you could provide a link.
Thanks,
Roger

... this was more of a proof of concept.· It was decided, at least with what I was working with that there was too much thermal radiation effecting the results than I could compensate for.· The key is that you have precise symmetry so that you can make a differential phase comparisons.·
