Video recording: C628 or DVR623 ? (Electronics123)

I can't seem to find any important differences between these two. They both do VGA video at 30FPS and both seem to be able to support USB mass storage & SD cards., although the C628 seems to be the physically smaller of the two and MUST use an external microcontroller.
Anyone have some experience with these and would like to share their opinion?
