Interfacing 433 MHz RF Reciver to USB

I want to output the serial data from the rf reciver to my laptop, but i only have usb ports.
I was wondering if i could use basic stamp1 serial adapter

in conjuction with the usb to serial adapter

to achieve this. By connecting the 2 together and then conecting the usb side to the laptop and the stamp interface to the rf reciver.
If this doesn't make sense is there any other way?
