    I don’t believe the unit is pink…I think the photo is misleading. It looks like an open-frame unit and what you see is the metal frame reflecting and probably messing with the white balance. =) I have a unit that looks just like this that came from eBay.

    It's value·would be determined by you and your needs...the ones I got were $25.00 each and are good for most uses, however the display was a little grainy. I actually found them through a post on these forums. Someone had linked to the seller before when they only had like 4 or 5 left.· I thought the ones I got were worth $25.00 if that helps.· =)
