Hi,
Just in case you didn't know...
This year Parallax is making a big effort to provide a number of web-based seminars (a.k.a. Webinars) starting in March 2009.· These webinars will be live video/audio feeds and will demonstrate·concepts initially·focused exclusively·on the Propeller chip.· If the response it positive, other topics may be presented later in the year as well.
You can visit the webinar·page of our website to·keep an eye on what webinars are available, their dates, times, status, etc:
·· · http://www.parallax.com/tabid/742/Default.aspx·
To see an archive of previous webinars, go here:
···· http://www.parallax.com/tabid/766/Default.aspx
Our goal is to provide the Propeller community (as well as those curious about Propeller but who haven't used it yet)·an opportunity to learn more, share, and ask questions of the Parallax R&D and Education staff related to the Propeller.
The·first few planned·webinars will be·very informal question-and-answer sessions with key staff members.· The format·of the webinars may·evolve over time, but initially, the number of available "seats" per webinar will be kept to a level that hopefully provides a good overall experience and an interactive nature among the participants.
If you can't get into a webinar, don't dismay, there will be more... and each one will be recorded and will be provided for your viewing pleasure at any time regardless of whether or not you were able to attend.
If you are curious about how the webinar works, how to join if you've already registered, etc., see the pdf attached to this post.
See you there!

Nothing is impossible, there are only different degrees of difficulty.
For every stupid question there is at least one intelligent answer.
Don't guess - ask instead.
If you don't ask you won't know.
If your gonna construct something, make it·as simple as·possible yet as versatile as posible.

I found that when I went to sign up that there was another site I was directed to for logging in and registering. On that other site there was an option to display the webinar time in "my local time" (I think that was the name). Try that and see if it gets what you would like.

Regarding the "receive only" question:· The "recorded" sessions that will be provided within 24-hours of the webinar are intended to be available essentially·"in full" as well as in·smaller clips that are single-question/answer oriented.· The clips will be organized on·our webinar archive page by topic and question so you can pick and choose your question/answer at will rather than having to watch an entire session wondering if there's anything of worth in there for you.
