I keep wondering if any of parallax's products could benefit from the new high speed ftdi chip. www.ftdichip.com/Products/FT2232H.htm
They are about $7. In quantity they would be about $1 more than the old high speed ftdi chip.
Too bad FTDI doesn't put some effort into an HID spec device.
