I'm not sure how long it will take Youtube to "process" this video... LIVE!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPIwJO-Ekj4

added some additional footage with a little better video of the game itself being played.

I finally got around to doing my Propeller Skateboard/"Skate or Die" project.
I was inspired by Ahle2's C64 Tape Drive Emulator. (featured as well)
{Hey Ahle2, you're famous now..}

Watch and judge for yourself.. :)

The tape loader runs at actual tape speed. (slow) :) It's a 2MB tape image.

The game Skate or Die was huge when loaded from disk. (The way I used to play it)
I found the tape image and thought I'd Propeller this project to the max. :)

Skate or Die was a great game! Very nice music too!
Those were the normal loading time, slow!, ahahahah.
Very very cool. Are you going to build it at the expos I think, aren't you?... people are going to queue to play!

Very nice!

Once the section of the game is loaded, it doesn't need to reload...

Debating on hauling Commodore stuff to UPEW.. *maybe* :)
I added an additional video to the first thread.

Awesome...

I'm looking into going to UPEW and would love to see this setup in action...

Living on the planet Earth might be expensive but it includes a free trip around the sun every year...

Experience level:
[ ] Let's connect the motor to pin 1, it's a 6V motor so it should be fine.
[ ] OK, I got my resistors hooked up with the LEDs.
[X] I got the Motor hooked up with the H-bridge and the 555 is supplying the PWM.
[ ] Now, if I can only program the BOE-BOT to interface with he Flux Capacitor.
[ ] I dream in SX28 assembler...

Ok, my arm is nearly twisted into bringing this to UPEW.. If I ship the board
and heavy power supply, I could drop a breadbin 64 into my carry-on for safe travel.

It would be cool to play this on a projector, but I'm trying to remember which
Commodore game had a guy who was standing on a board moving forward.
Now that would be a neat way to use this interface!
Time to dig into my library of C64 games and see if I can find it.

It's fun doing these real-world interfaces, I'm considering Paperboy with an exercise bike. :)
