Wireless print server for wireless control

I have come up with a cheaper idea for wireless control of robots with the use of wireless print server.· Wireless print servers have a USB port for connecting the printer, and I am wondering about the fesibility of connecting a USB to RS232 converter there, then connecting a BS2 to it.· I am looking for opinions to see if it will work, barring the power supply issue.· Do you guys think that this would work?

Thanks,
Phil

The USB port on the print server is a slave device and can't control the USB to serial adapter.

you might be able to use a wireless parallel printer and send a parallel signal to a parallel to serial converter, or just use the signal to trick the bs2 using pulse in or somthing like that, the only problem with using something like that would be writing the code to send the signal to the print server, the firmware may not be able to handle the signal you send the print server.
