Low voltage ADC

Hello.· Does anyone know the easiest way to convert a linear voltage signal into digital data that can be stored on the BS2?· My problem is the equipment (a force load cell)·output ranges from 0 to only 17.8 mV.

I think you'll need to amplify that signal (with an op-amp) to get it into a range appropriate for conversion. Should be easy.

If you need to have accurate or repeatable readings, set your op-amps up as an instrumentation amp. It's design helps eliminate some routine sources of error. Just Google "instrumentation amp".

The AD7730 is a complete bridge transducer ADC connected directly to the load cell and outputs a serial word and easy interface to BS2.
