HB-25 Motor Controller Connections

I need to see an example of how the HB-25 motor controller can be connected in system.· I read through the manual, and I understand that I can connect BRW to the development board using an LCD cable connector, and M1 and M2 connect to the motor.· I'm assuming that Vin and GND can be connect to a 9V battery.· Is that right, or do these two also need to be connected to the development board?

You connect the M1 and M2 to your motor leads.

Connect + and - to your motor battery, not your BOE or other uC board.

Connect the three wire servo cable on the outside group of headers, following the color labels (b= black, w = white).

Also make sure you connect the ground (GND) connection to your Boe-Bot and any other power source groound you use, else the circuit will not work with your code from any Stamp or other MCU..

The ground connection will be established with the 3 wire connection of the lcd connector so that is all that is neeed for coms between the BOE and the HB-25.

Anyone in the NYC area know where I can buy a servo cable. I know I can online, but I was hoping there was a store somewhere. Radio Shack didn't have any.

I'm not in NYC but any Hobby RC store will have them.

Most servo cables are extenders with a male and female ends. What you need are ones with both ends female ( I went to a hobby store looking for them and got a weird look from them-they even went online looking for them). I ended up for the time being hacking two together.

If you have any old pc's most of the cables used the .1 spacing and with a little work you can get something going.

The cables from Paralax are a good deal - I didn't know until after I hacked up the servo extenders.
