sirs,
is it possible to use 0183 NMEA commands in parallax breadboard kits (with gps receiver)?
if yes,how to use with broad explanation.

    I assume getting it as input? If so, then yes, it is possible. Take a look at the SERIN command in the Basic Stamp Syntax and Reference Manual.

    The Parallax GPS receiver has two modes of operation, one that produces "raw" NMEA data from the GPS receiver and the other that partially processes the NMEA data. Read the documentation. Like most Parallax products, there are links to documentation and sample code on the webstore page for the product.

    The Stamps have fairly limited variable storage and it's difficult to process the "raw" NMEA data using them. Several people have posted forum messages about using the scratchpad ram present on most of the Stamp models other than the BS1 and BS2. A number of people have used the Propeller to process GPS NMEA data and there's an object in the Propeller Object Exchange ("GPS Float Demo") that can be used to parse and process the "raw" data.
