·They are selling them out of there stores they will not sell these any more this is on·some battery only
the line that is bellow is not one of them but it look just like it

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2815061

They are very easy to open the case of the battery the board that comes with battery will control the battery voltage from 1.8 to 4.2 volts

They also have 7.2 volt batterys also these work very well with a Basic Stamp I try this over the weekend

the one thing it dose not·control is the current to the battery you have to control this part of it

Please Be careful Not to short these batteys even when they are low on charge they will get vey HOT very fast
Also if you try to chrage them to fast they·will get warm very fast so Please be careful with this part

Note that you CAN NOT hook two 3.7 volt battey ·to get 7.2 volt and be able to charge them this will NOT WORK I try this

I just thought·I would share this with you· this only an·idea.gif

There is a battery shop near ·where I live where
I have bought some Li-ion Battery·for lap computers·a while back·
I did not have· the voltage control board to be able to use them now that I bought these battery that come with··voltage control board· now I can use them

Li-ion Battery·..............>>>>>>>>>>>

This Battery shop·will weld the straps·from cell to cell for me with the understanding that if any thing gose wrong it is my problem· I have been buying·battery from them for·many years··

There some setup that they will not do for me·······

Lithium rechargable cells are very dangerous to work with. There are some impressive videos on the web showing notebook computers exploding and bursting into intense flame. Lest you think these are special setups, read some of what's available discussing this and the danger posed by rechargable lithium batteries in checked luggage and carry-on luggage on airplanes. It's important to have proper short circuit and charging protection specific for the particular battery involved. If you're a little "free" with your designs or can be a little careless, like accidently dropping a conductive tool into your live circuit, stay away from rechargable lithium cells, use NiMH and make sure there's a fuse in the lead from the battery.

Mike is right on, as he usually is. Hacking Li-I cells is a profoundly unwise idea.

Most reputable online resellers of Li-ion batteries have warnings regarding the appropriate use of the battery and harging circuitry that is necessary. I agree with the suggestion to avoid hacking an Li-ion battery.

here is a web site where you can buy them

I research this for a while

And I do take your warning about these cells to heart
