Reading a POT

I am switching from a Basic Stamp to a Propeller and looking for the most accurate way to read a POT. I am using PULSOUT and SHIFTIN with my Basic Stamp, but I do not see these with the Propeller manual. I do not want to use RCTIME given in the past with the Basic Stamp it seemed less accurate.

well, I don't know the Basic Stamp (with SX, I assume). Propeller offers timers that can be triggered at full clock fequency which typically gives you a resolution of 12.5 ns. Just one more resistor and cap and off you go...

Yes I am using the SX. Is there any examples of using timer so I can start researching?

I remember having seen some RC-meter. Any application using a microphone also needs an ADC. E.g. 'microphone to VGA'.

After reviewing the docs, using the RC Decay is charging a cap and measuring discharge time. How accurate is this? I am reading two pots to feed speed signals to a motor controller. If these signals are not accurate, the speed will be jerky.
