Parallax 3.5" Color A/V LCD Pinout

Can anyone please give the pin out for the round 6pin DIN plug that is connected directly to the LCD display? I'd like to plug the LCD directly into my project and skip the long cable with the White, Red, Yellow RCA jacks.
I am curious how 2 video, an audio, and 12VDC power all map to only 6 pins by the way. Assume there must be some grounds shared...but still seems weird.
Thanks for the help.

    I've done this with a similar display (and only fried one video adaptor so far). You only need three wires. RED (probably) for your 12v source. BLACK (probably) for your ground. WHITE or YELLOW (probably) will be your two AVin leads (pick one) If your LCD has 2 AVins you have to select one from the units' select button or OSD. The best part is that this video lead does not seem to require any grounding. The grounding on an RCA jack appears to be there only to ground the shielding on the video cable. Also, if you keep the lead short, no shielding seems to necessary on this direct video connection (even though I've got an RF module on my project). If anybody else has any further light to shed on this direct video setup I'm also all ears.

    I don't think I was clear. I understand what the Red, White, Yellow jacks are for. The Parallax device has a cable that comes off and the last 5 inches to the display actually have a single 6 pin DIN...like a PS/2 mouse connector. I'm trying to find the pinout to this input jack. I've tried using an Ohm meter on the longer piece of cable, and found the pinout for the video and audio pins...but not for power and ground and the shields.

    MiniDIN-6_Numbered_Diagram.svg

    OK, Here's what worked for me. Keep in mind this is the MALE end of the wiring harness which will plug in to what I suspect is a FEMALE 6-pin mini DIN lead to your LCD.
    (reverse these pins if you're looking into your female DIN)

    6 = 12v red wire
    3= GND black wire
    4= video1 yellow wire

    No guarantee that my LCD is wired the same as yours but it's a standard Chinese garden-variety item.

    Good Luck
