HELP advice needed!

hello,

My name is Jacar (spanish) I live in Holland and I need some advice.
I'm planning on building and programming my own robot.
which consist of atleast 3 servo's and if possible 4 and at least 1 sensor (ping ultrasonic)

which microcontroller would you guys advice me? I think a basic stamp would be the best to start with.
I'm considering to buy the boe-bot kit with the ping sensor because that kit contains pretty much everything I need for this project.

    The BOE-bot kit is an absolutely great place to start. I'd especially recommend getting the BOE-BOT kit with the ping and bracket included. This would be a great introduction
    to robotics.

    I'd also recommend keeping an eye on this forum and posting whenever you have a question that you can't answer with the supplied documentation... the poeple here are
    great and will help with most any project.

    The BoeBot kit with the PING sensor and the PING servo bracket is an excellent way to start. Be sure to download the "What's a Microcontroller?" tutorial and go through the exercises in the tutorial to learn how Stamps work and how to program them.

    oke, I think I will buy the boebot kit and go on from there.
