Any one talked about hooking up a propeller to a printer? I have an old but never used commodore dot matrix printer and wanted to know where i get started on making the propeller print?
Any ideas?

(Brian dropped them off, on consignment, but I doubt he wants very much for them. I can ask)
As for Commodore serial, you are getting ready to open a serious can of worms here.
Of course I invite you to do so because having a Propeller IEC object would be useful
for the creation of other Commodore/Propeller projects. :)
If you want to print from the Propeller, you'll save less hair using a MAX3232 and going
with a serial printer of some sort.

Since you mentioned RS232 receipt printers, has anyone tried Serial (RS232) label printers like the Seiko ones?
I have always been thinking if this could be done but never got time to do it.
A lot of the label printers put the job of font creation on the PC side.
I can print dots from my Propeller to the label printer, but I have to do the work
of building the fonts to get text. Older Rs232 line printers had their fonts built-in
and would be perfect for simple printing from a Propeller.
