Hope someone can supply information on a lightning detection program for a basic stamp 2 and also a schematic. Thanks, N6CRU

    whats with the people trying to troll the forums for freelance programmers.

    if im reading the question right, your looking for a LIGHTENING detector, like actual bolts of lightning?

    Do you have a lightning detector already? If not, Google is rife with links to schematics for them. Once you've got one working, post the schematic here, and we can help with the Stamp interface.

    While looking around for something else, ran across a book
    STAMP 2 Communications and Control Projects
    Thomas Petruzzellis

    Chapter y titled Lightniong Activity Monitor with sections titled Lightnint Sensor, Display Board, Programming the Unit, Lightning Activity Monitor Sensing Head Assembly Parts List, and Lightning Actifity Monitor Main Display Unit Parts List.

    I know absolutely nothing about the book, so I can't say anything pro or con.

    Sorry, text got garbled. Chapter 7 Title is Lightning Activity Monitor. The list above is for the subsections of the text copied from the table of contents.
