    I have seen a thermistor in mouser that is rated over 450 F . I wonder if that would be suitable?

    I find that most smd resistors and tantalum capacitors' pads need to be widened to ease hand soldering, so that you verify the contact just by looking at it.
    But I can't be customizing every eagle smd footprint and widening each one of them.....
    Is there an easier way to automatically widen all the smd footprints?

    Thanks Bob. I really need to get around to fixing my thermocouple. Over the weekend I turned away and my program went wild because something didn't read back right.
