Reducing Shipping Costs

It seems that the smallest package box Parallax has is the 12.5" x 9.5" x 2" carton.
I think Parallax should obtain some smaller carton boxes to reduce the total weight of the package.

For example, to send a few Propeller chips, a smaller box should be used so that the package weight can dip below 0.5kg.
That would help international customers.

    William,
From my standpoint - Having ordered dierctly from Parallax via various companies - I believe that shipping costs are fairly reasonable - If I was to use Radionics or Farnell - which I have done when I was stuck - they charge a fortune for a P8x32a - but have 'free' shipping.. So I tend to wait until I have a pretty large order before I proceed. That said - usually Customs stop the parcel and hold it up for a day and apply their % to it.. I believe UK/Ireland supplier and cost issues will be sorted shortly per Ken Gracey. Not sure about anywhere else - Have you contacted Parallax re: Suppliers ?

    Hello William,

As a distributor you should be able to ask your sales representative instead of making a post on the forums.
