Holding 0805 resistors in place

Which is the best way to hold down the SMT resistor to solder it by hand?
Should I
1. Use some glue?
2. Hold it down with a tweezer?
3. Hold it down using a finger nail?
4. Use sticky flux? ( where to buy this? )

Glue will also work fine, but I would recommend using a gel type superglue to prevent the glue from running onto the pads.

1. If you're replacing a part, suck the old solder from both pads using solder wick.
2. Apply a small bead of solder to one pad using the iron.
3. Grap the resistor/cap with tweezers and press it against the pads.
4. Heat up the pad with the solder bead until the solder melts, and press the part into it.
5. Let the part cool.
6. Solder the other end of the part to the remaining pad. Work fast, though, so you don't melt the solder on the first pad.
7. Use solder wick to clean up any bulging solder globs, leaving a nice fillet.
I've never had a part tombstone using this technique.

We use the CircuitMedic website all the time for reference and training. Good site.
