Well if the warranty is up on it and you can not get an exchange for it, I could use it for scrap parts. If you are willing to sell it PM me with a price and if I can repair it I will send it back to you for the purchase I made for it for a scrap board.

If a robot has a screw then it must be romoved and hacked into..
Not a lot to check on the board.
1- Disconnect everything from the board. Remove the BS2 from the socket.
2- Connect a 9V battery (measure the battery voltage before connecting it). Battery should read at least 9V before connecting it or it is probably bad. If you have 9V
measure the voltage in and out of the regulator. If you read 9V in and 5V out of the regulator go to step 3.
The voltage in to the regulator should read very close to the first reading of the battery. If not you may have a bad regulator, bad capacitor, or a short circuit.
Measure the voltage out of the regulator. It should red close to 5V (4.75 - 5.25). If the voltage is low and the regulator is warm check the capacitors to see if they
are leaking or getting warm. If so it is probably a bad capacitor.
3- Measure the voltage in and out of the switch (in position 1 and 2). If you read 5V (or 9V depending on how it is wired) in and out of the switch go to step 4. Otherwise
replace the switch. Not sure if position 2 of the switch is connected to 5V or 9V but check it also.
4- Measure the voltage coming in on the BS2 socket. If it is 5V disconnect the battery, plug in the BS2, and reconnect the power. If you have 5V coming in to the BS2
check the VSS pin to be certain it is close to 0 volts. If the voltages are ok and it still does not work you probably have a bad BS2.

The board short circuited everything is broken down, except for the BS2-IC module. I've got a new Board! REV C. It's not as good as my the newer (and Older) REV D BOE I used!

This I already understood, So still my offer stands and you can keep the BS2 chip, I just want the board as long as it's not broken in half.

Why not troubleshoot the board and replace the bad component? If trace is bad, bridge it.
OOooo. Then you get to run the smoke test, good times.
Isn't this the reason we all got into this!!!
