I'm dissapointed with my bot..

hi all!
My boe bot dosn't move, it seems death, but no.
One of my IR sensors had been broken, so I decided to change it for a new IR sensor (MSE-S110.2)
Well, now i'm testing the bot and it doesn't move, I put the cables in the corrects P's (P1, P2, Vdd, Vss/GND) in my homework board.
I want to know if that sensor runs with that circuit.

    Izzy,

    I'm not sure that the mse-s110.2 is a compatible sensor without a schematic change to the HomeWork Board. You had mentioned in an earlier post regarding the mse-s110.2 that your application might be some sort of line follower and the mse-s110.2 looks like it would be a great sensor for that. The HomeWork Boards' IR sensors are designed to "see" a 38kHz IR signal and I believe that the mse-s110.2 only differentiates between contrasting colors to produce a logic HIGH or LOW output.

    I'm curious how one of your IR sensors had become broken in the first place. If it was broken right out of the package, you should contact tech support for a replacement sensor.

    @Beau Schwabe

    Well I don't know how, but when I enter in the debug mode, the sensor doesn't send light to the receptor, I know that is the sensor 'cos I changed the sensor

    1. R(work)-L(don't work)
    Change
    2. L(don't work)-R(work)

    Izzy,

    Are you observing proper polarity on the IR transmitter LED's? (<-- Only has two pins) Try turning the one that doesn't seem to work around and see if that makes a difference.

    It seems that I have bad luck xD

    Thanks,
    Izzy.
