Propeller and other Parallax parts project
Here are a few of the boards from a 'work in process' project based on the Prop, also using the Parallax LCD, Parallax Vibration sensor, FTDI RL232, Vinculum, VS1033 MP3 IC, RS485 networking ports, Maxim temp sensor, quadrature encoder on the motor. The thumbdrive holds human voice prompts for user feedback, FX, as well as it datalogs whatever is requested. MP3 has lines out for a HiFi system plus it has built in amp/speakers, there are buzzers for feedback, 3 PIR sensors for motion/obstruction feedback. There is a BLDC motor driver, and two Quantum based touch panels(QT60160 and QT1081) with glass or Lexan graphic overlays. There is a finger print scanner, two keypads, power supply, other sensor boards as well.
Just wanted to post some pics of the progress. Hard to imagine how much the Propeller in this thing doing so far, and I am still adding to it, 4250 lines of spin code so far! It's also amazing much you can do with very little experience with the Propeller, it was basically my first microprocessor experience after a very short stint with the Stamp. It's very exciting to see several years of work start to come together.
