There is now a book that comes with the PEKit. It is also available seperately here. ·It is, of course, available in pdf smilewinkgrin.gif
It appears to have some addtional info beyond the Labs alone.

Why thank you Whit, you beat us to the announcement punch.·

Just so you all know, the book is now included with both PE Kit flavors.· The printed book includes setup and testing directions for the PE Kit 40-pin DIP version.· If you order the PE Kit PropStick USB version, your kit will also have a printout with separate setup and testing instructions.

As always, please feel free to email suggestions and errata directly to me at editor@parallax.com.

I just happened to see it. Very cool. I am very excited and have already downloaded it. May have to order a print copy though!

I was just printing out a lab a time, but this will sure be handy. I love to take stuff with me read when I am away. Thanks for making this available!

You are welcome. We did update some of the labs as we went, correcting errors and expanding on some sections. So, if you browse through it again you will find some differences, all improvements we hope!

looks like I bought the kit a few days too early :( Awesome job though...and that is why god invented the pdf. (well, it was more likely satan that created PDF, or at least the PDF readers, but I digress).

Yep. I'm feeling that 'pain' too... I bought mine last summer, but oh how time flies! So if god invented the PDF, satan the reader, then who invented the printer to print the darn thing? I call upon the muses...

Wow. Thats a really good book. The counters have caused me trouble in the past, but the new counters section seems way better the the old lab. I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel....now as long as its not a train, I'm doing good!

Too bad that the DIP version has become more expensive.

It was $79.95 , after a year or so the propstick version was introduced at $99.95.
Now they both cost $99.95.

Why this increase of price?
Is this the book?
Production costs of the parts?
Economic crisis?

Yeah, hear here!

I was going to buy one, but the usb version seems like a better deal since I already have the Prop plug.

@Doug and Robot Freak,

See - http://www.elexp.com/tst_2305.htm

Of course, you don't get the $20 book.
