·WILL SOMEONE PLEASE ADVISE ME THE BEST APPROACH TO BUILDING A 24 HOUR EVENT TIMER. I NEED A REAL·TIME CLOCK BUT I M NOT SURE WHAT TO USE TO DO THIS. I AM ALSOWONDERING WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TO DRIVE A FOUR DIGIT LED DISPLAY , IS THERE A DISPLAY DRIVER FOR THIS? ANY HELP OR SUGESTIONS GREATLY APPREACIATED·····

If you're going to do any sort of long term project with the module, I'd get the board linked below. Due to the fact that working with a crystal requires special setups (ie, a local ground plane, short leads, little RF interference) it doesn't lend itself well to breadboarding. A breadboard or the BOE will work fine to learn how it works, but stray RF interference will cause it to lose accuracy. Plus, this board is only a couple dollars more than the components themselves.
