Oscilloscope

I am not sure if this is the correct formum to bring up this subject. I couldn' find any threads that discussed this issue. I have the Parallax Oscilloscope and noticed that the software has been updated but one of the features I have used for a number of projects is the FFT. That feature is no longer in the updated software. Why was it deleted?
I continue to use the·earlier version but the new version does have some good features.
