LINUX World Basic Stamp Editor

I'm hopeful to convert a pc laptop over to LINUX OS
and want to know if anyone can comment on the
Parallax LINUX Editor functionality compared to
the MS Windows version. Mainly, are all the functions
in place to survive in a LINUX world, with the Basic
Stamp? Thanks sincerely.

    They have a BS2 editor for the Mac. Leopard is nothing but linux, so why should it not work with leopard? The program works on my macpro, but the serial interface I do not have so I can't directly hook it up unless I buy a serial to usb connector. I have several, but just not the right model. When you get one, make sure that it is the one they suggest or it will not work.

    Also, on the mac they have crossover. I think linux has Wine or something , doesn't it? That might work. Especially if you are on an intel machine.
