Observation concerning Propeller Control Board

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Propeller Control Board (PCB)·and was getting ready to add some Parallax +5vdc sensors to their PCB mounts when I noticed that there does not appear to be any current limiting resistors between the outputs of the onboard sensor mounts·and the·their respective Propeller inputs.

Is this issue my imagination and I am not reading the PCB schematic correctly or did Parallax forget to design in·the appropriate current limiting resistors between the +5vdc sensor outputs and the·their respective·Propeller inputs?

Comments?

Regards,
TCIII

If you look at the schematics for the sensors themselves, you'll see that they have their own current limiting resistors, so the PCB doesn't need additional ones.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the input. Hadn't thought about that.
