I am attempting a project using the boe-bot and an alphanumeric LED display of this variety and serial number:·http://www.elexp.com/opt_13bd.htm. When researching how to display a simple message repeatedly on the LED I found basically nothing helpful. I was hoping that someone here would have any suggestions on the wiring and BASIC Stamp programming required to accomplish this smile.gif

That is a 16-segment display…due to the number of I/O lines required to drive that many segments most people will use some sort of driver IC for this task. Another option is multiplexing the lines, although you’d need a faster microcontroller to do this. Take care.
