Problem with Parallax Web Site, or with me?

I've been trying to access the "Propeller" link on the entry page of the Parallax website (www.parallax.com).· When I click on "Basic Stamp" or "SX" or "Propeller" or anything except "Forums", I get an error message that says "DotNetNuke error - Version 04.06.02" with additional text indicating "Index outside the bounds of the array".

Dunno whether this is the right place for this inquiry, but it's just about the only part of the site I can get to.

This happens with any of several separate PCs on my network.· Is it happening to others, or is it just me?

What I was trying to do was look for info on connecting a Propeller to a PC using a MAX232 or similar, for downloading programs into the Propeller chip from the Propeller tool.· I first intended to use the FTDI USB chip, but it's too small for me to solder, I think.· So I'm looking at RS232 instead (I'm in process of laying out a PC board that is rather busy, but I can make room).

It's not you Carl, I'm also getting the same errors on Parallax's site.

Forums is the only one that works... It feels like a safe haven. The rest of the world is crashing down around us, but the forums are forever... forever...

I too feel safe in the fora.· Now if we can just teach Parallax that the plural of "forum" is "fora", the feeling here will be absolutely womb-like.

Actually, of course, there's not a thing wrong with "forums", but I just like older forms.· I'm an old fa -- er, fuddy-duddy.· Or a classicist.· Or something.

Glad to know it's not me, anyway.· Most things that don't work do turn out to be me.

Concur. The Parallax site has a major problem at the moment. I hate when that happens. I am trying to download the latest Propeller Tool because I have a temporary computer I need to install it on in order to write some software. Hmmm....maybe I have an old install saved somewhere.

I knew right after Nov. 4 that nothing would ever work right again.

Yes, there's a problem. I've tried to contact the IT Guy to no avail. . . left a message and e-mail.

So much for the new snazzy web tools we're using.

While waiting on IT, you could try restarting IIS, or making a minor edit to web.config, like a space and this will cause a restart. Of course this is assuming someone has the appropriate access to do so.·Just some suggestions!

Please archive this site -->today. After it gets a fresh start, take it offline, or whatever it takes, and just archive it. There is way too much good info here to lose.
