Potential source for Plexiglas, Lexan etc.

Not that this is anything new, but I thought it might be good to post..
Last weekend I was at an·Ace-Hardware and was looking for a sheet of plastic for a small project.· Usually I would go to Lowes or to Home Depot and buy a sheet of one of their pre-cut·standards.
Ace seems to do it a little bit different in that every piece of plastic you buy, "they" will cut it for you.· In other words they don't have it available on the shelf for the taking.· So I asked if I could have some scrap, that had already been cut...· I probably walked out with about $50 dollars worth of Lexan for only·$5.
