servo going in circles

so i have this not so contiuous rotation servo that started to continously rotate, nothing get hot or anything, i was messing with the wii nunchuck on the prop, is this a broken servo now, or can i still get precision out of it

    There is a small pot on the side of the servo where the wires go in, adjust it to re-center your servo. Don't push too hard!

    its not a continous rotation servo, its a micro eflight servo,

    If it now goes all the way around then it is indeed broken. You might be able to fix it by taking the cover off and seeing if it is repairable. Or get a new one and use this as is. Servos can be damaged if you drive them past the point where they are supposed to stop especially the micro ones.

    you may also be able to find a little something to glue to the notch that makes it a 180 servo or whatever it was

    sounds like you've stripped the notch off of the main output gear that limits rotation.
    if you can control the servo within its range of motion then the potentiometer is still good.
    if you can't then you may well have damaged the pickup (spring loaded fingers) that feeds the position back to the servo's internal controller chip.

    basic law of buying servos is buy one more than you need and use one of them for all your initial experiments.
