Can the Hydra Tiny Basic version (on the Hydra CD) access I/O ports,
perhaps through USR calls, or otherwise? Is there a manual posted
somewhere? Thanks.

On the Hydra CD, there was a .DOC file describing the language in one of the directories:

    \Hydra\demos\Robert_Woodring\RGW_HTBasic_08_20_06\Hydra_Tiny_Basic.doc

From what I can see it dosen't have a USR command, but does have PEEK/POKE.

Mike Green's FemtoBasic·(and it's many variants like·DongleBasic) give you that sort of access (through INA/OUTA commands).·

Thanks for the info. It looks like all the tools are in place
for creating some really spectacular programs in Tiny
Basic. I need to find a Hydra CD to get the DOC
file and study the details about this Tiny Basic version.
Apparently this is not posted anywhere and must be
    ordered/comes with the Hydra?

You can buy the paper manual and CD together or you can buy a complete Hydra package. Neither the programs nor the documentation can be distributed otherwise.
