Clock the Prop from ENC28J60?

I'm thinking about building a circuit with an ENC28J60 ethernet controller...

Just noticed that it puts out a 6.25 MHz clock source by default...
This looks perfect for driving the Prop at 100 MHz!

I've seen that people have use the Prop with 5 MHz crystal to clock ENC28J60,
but this looks better to me.

Anybody see a problem with this?

The chip provides a CLKOUT pin for this purpose, so it ought to work.

will the chip be able to handle being overclocked? Anyone test how well it works?

    Read the datasheet!

There's a graph showing the tested maximum system clock frequency vs. ambient temperature and supply voltage.
