Anyone Interface a Basic Stamp to an X10 CM10A, CM11A, or HD16

There's a collection of RS232 to X10 controllers out there, a few being the CM10A, (rebranded by IBM as an HD16) and a CM11A (with battery backup).

Anyone out there have any experience making a Stamp talk to one of these?

Parallax used to sell one if I recall. I have a couple of them, they accept serial input at TTL levels. If these are the type of units you mean, yes I have used them and they are dirt simple. ANy specific questions?

Thanks, but the modules I'm referencing are true serial modules. The modules mentioned in the App note are not.

Hi, this link http://www.smarthome.com/manuals/protocol.txt decribes the serial protocol.

The document was included on a site that·sold the CM11A, the page mentioned they had discontinued the product.
