I am hacking this RF Controller

I want to know if I can use this RF Remote Control that has a .580 KHZ OutPut with a Basic Stamp

I runs on 6 volt

Pin2··· OutPut 2 volta @ .580 KHZ

Pin3·· ·-


It has button on the front of the remote

ON OFF the output seem the same for both buttons

    · The RCTIME statement will take less time to execute because it requires only one change in pin state to complete. The PULSIN statement requires two changes in pin state because it·is reading the entire pulse.· This may free up time to do processes between (or even during) pulses.

    Not to be off topic, But have You seen the hack Jon W. wrote on IR remotes in the Jan. issue of N/V Mag. This will be the Platform for many projects to come. Its awesome and even has a RS232 link for a host PC.!!! Theirs a killer generic PC Board too.!!!

    I would agree with you on this

    If·I remember right this was with a SX Chip which I have not learn to code as of yet

    Which I need to learn how to If I only had more time on my hands
