BS2px pin will not go high

Hello all,

I have a BS2px with pin 14 connected to a button through a 330 ohm resistor. The input is pulled low by a 10K resistor. However, when the button is pushed, the basic stamp's pin will only reach about 3v. This circuit only reaches 5v if the basic stamp is removed.

Thanks for any help.

Are you sure pin 14 is set up as an input in your program? Is there anyting else connected to it besides the 330-ohm resistor, button, and pulldown? What is the other side of the button connected to?

Pin 14 is an input. Nothing else is connected. The other side of the button is connected to 5v. By the way, shouldn't 3v still register as logic high? It doesn't.

    Buddie

I'm with philpi on this one. Can You attach some code Your using? and a jpeg of the circuit?

This will make leaps and bounds on Your Project.
