USB Keyboard and Propeller

Simple question - Will a simple USB keyboard work with the propeller keyboard object if you use a PS/2 adapter? I found some cheap $5 USB keyboards that I would like to use with my product. I was going to use an array keypad(0-9, #, *) and they seem to be the same price, but more complicated to use for a user interface.

Some USB keyboards were designed to work with either a USB bus or a PS/2 bus. The adapter that came with them was only a connector. There were no electronics in the adapter. These would work with a Propeller and one of the PS/2 keyboard objects. These "adapter"s won't work with an ordinary USB keyboard.

Mike, so basically, if the keyboard works on my computer WITH a USB-to-PS/2 adapter, it should work with the propeller? Is that what you're saying?

It should work with the Prop. The Prop's PS/2 interface is standard stuff.
