using basic stamp for ajustable resistor

is it possible to let the basic stamp ajust a risistor?

so yes what kind of resistor whould allow me to regulate thruogh the basic stamp module?

Without having more information about the end result you are looking for, its hard to say.

One solution is to use a servo to operate a standard potentiometer.

Or, use the PWM commands to let a pin drive an LED whose light is shining on a resistive photocell.
